Continuation of SIYA'S POV from previous chapter...
The man was standing right in front of me, smirking, thinking he had won. And Rana-sa... he was beside me.
I looked up at him, trembling, tears already streaking my cheeks. And then his voice thundered, cutting through everything, still looking at me "DIDN'T YOU HEAR ME?! APOLOGIZE. RIGHT NOW!!"
My tears fell faster, one after another, unstoppable. Then he moved. Slowly, deliberately, closer to the man. And before anyone could react, Rana-sa's foot slammed into the back of the man's knees. The man crumpled to the floor with a strangled cry.
Rana-sa's voice boomed again, fierce, commanding, "YOU... F*CKER.. APOLOGIZE. RIGHT. NOW!" And then... he turned toward me. "TO MY WIFE.. TO MY RANI-SA!"
The words echoed across the office. The entire floor went silent. Everyone froze. Breath caught. Eyes wide. Shock everywhere.
Because until now, only rumors had whispered the truth-that Hukum-Rana-sa of Rajasthan, Avinash Singh Rathore... was married. No confirmations. No proof. No acknowledgment. And now he had said it. Loud. Clear. Unmistakable.
His Rani-sa. His wife.
The man on the floor went pale. Rudra smirked, knowing exactly what was about to happen to him-and what message it sent to anyone daring to touch, insult, or disrespect his bhai-sa's wife.
And i... i just stood there, frozen, heart hammering, tears streaking down my face. He then stepped forward, eyes burning, voice sharp as a blade. He grabbed the MD by his collar, yanked him up halfway, and thundered-
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU HAVE... JO MERI RANI-SA TUMHE SEDUCE KAREGI, HUH!?"
(WHAT THE HELL DO YOU EVEN HAVE… that my Rani-sa would seduce YOU, huh!?)
The man froze. Silence crashed over the office. His voice dropped lower... deadlier... "Kya milega.. tum jaise ghatiya aadmi ko dekh ke? Huh!!? Himmat kaise hui tumhari... Meri Rani-sa ka naam apni ghatiya zubaan se lene ki? Aur unhe CHOONE ki!!?" (What would anyone even gain by looking at a filthy man like you? Huh!? How dare you… take my Rani-sa’s name with that filthy tongue of yours? And how dare you TOUCH her!!?)
Author's POV :
Before anyone could understand what was happening- before Siya could say anything-
CRACKKK!
In one vicious movement, Avinash twisted that man's wrist and the bone snapped. The sound echoed like a gunshot.
A scream tore out of Siya's throat- "NOOOOOOO!" More tears spilled down her face uncontrollably. The MD collapsed to the floor, clutching his broken wrist, writhing, crying, gasping in pain.
But Avinash...he only stared at Siya. Confused. Hurt. Furious. He stepped toward her, voice raw- "Why, Rani-sa!? He was the one who touched you! Accused you! Toh phir aap... aap aise insaan ke liye ro rahi hai??!" (So then you… why are you crying for such a person??!”)
His voice shook-not with anger this time, but with something even he couldn't understand. The sight of her tears was destroying him. He moved closer. But Siya... she stepped back. Her eyes wide with fear.
The brutal cracking sound of the bone replaying in her mind again and again. Her breath hitched and her hands trembled.
She wasn't scared of him, not truly- She was scared of what he had just done.
Rudra immediately moved, coming between them. He gently turned her toward himself. "Siyaa..." his voice was soft, pleading, "Darne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai, Gudiya... please don't cry..." (There's no need to be afraid, doll... please don't cry...) Siya looked up at him-but her tear-filled eyes drifted instantly to the MD, who lay on the floor groaning, whimpering. That sound... That pain... She couldn't bear it.
As soon as Avinash saw where her Rani-sa's eyes were he roared looking at that man, "CHUP!!"
Siya flinched violently. She clutched Rudra's shirt, burying her face into his chest as a sob tore out of her. "B-Bhaiyya..." (B-Brother) she stuttered through her tears, voice breaking, full of panic. "Ple.. please... mu.. mujhe gha.. ghar jaa.. jaana hai... Please bhaiyya... please... mu.. mujhe yaha.. yahan se le chalo..." (Ple… please… I… I want to go… go home… Please, brother… please… I… please take me… take me away from here…)
Her entire body trembled. She felt suffocated. Overwhelmed. Terrified. Rudra held her tighter, glaring at his Bhai-sa over her head as if silently saying, "She's scared. Stop Bhai-sa."
But Avinash... he just stood there, chest rising and falling with rage and helplessness- because the one person he wanted to protect the most... was frightened because of him.

Siya was now in the living room, her small body shaking as her sobs echoed through the vast hall. Tears streamed down her face, unstoppable, like a river refusing to be dammed. Nandini held her tightly, rocking her gently, whispering soft words in her ear.
"Shh... shh... Beta, it's okay... you're safe now... I'm here only," she murmured, brushing Siya's damp hair away from her face. "Nothing will hurt you now... no one can ever touch you again... or accuse you again. "
Rudra stood nearby, arms crossed, jaw tight, had told what had happened to the rest of the family. His voice was controlled but every word carried fire, every syllable a warning.
His Dadi, Gayatri came forward slowly, her old hands gentle as she touched Siya's shoulder. Her voice was soft, tender, soothing, "Arre beta... everything is over now... you're home, safe... na?"
His Dadu, Vikram nodded beside her, his deep voice calm but firm, "Beta, you have nothing to fear... look around... everyone here loves you... no one will let anyone hurt you."
Ishita knelt down beside Siya, holding her hands and stroking them lightly, her voice a comforting hum, "Shh... it's okay... i know you're scared, but you're not alone... not ever... we're all here with you... don't be afraid, Siya."
Moksh, sitting close by, placed a gentle hand on Siya's back and whispered softly, his youthful voice steady, "Bhabhi-sa.. it's done... you're safe now... breathe... breathe slowly... you're okay, really."
Everyone surrounded her with warmth. Believing her without any explanation by her. But Siya's breath hitched- and her broken, stuttering voice escaped, "Ra... Rana-sa... h-he... he broke... th-that man's hand... he... he-"
Her whole body trembled again, another wave of fear mixing with shock. Nandini immediately cupped Siya's face with both hands, pulling her back into her embrace as tears fell from her daughter's eyes like rain.
"Woh issi layak tha, beta," (He deserved exactly that, child.) Nandini said firmly, not a hint of hesitation in her voice. Her words wrapped around Siya like armor. "Jo usne kiya... uski saza usse mili hai. You did nothing wrong. Bas... dekho, sab khatam ho gaya." (He's been punished for what he did. You did nothing wrong. That's it... look, it's all over.)
She held Siya tighter, rubbing circles on her back. "Koi tumhe takleef nahi dega," (No one will trouble you,) Nandini whispered into her hair. "I promise. Nothing will ever happen again. Let it out, beta... it's okay to cry."
Her reassurance cracked Siya's last bit of control, and she buried her face in Nandini's shoulder, sobs shaking her entire frame as his- no her family encircled her-not out of duty, not out of formality, but out of real, fierce love.

It was night, and everyone was seated at the dining table. The soft clatter of cutlery and murmured conversations filled the room to lighten the atmosphere, but the air felt heavy, as if everyone was holding their breath.
Aditya, his father and his chachu, Nikhil had also come to know what had happened earlier. The story had spread quickly, and their expressions carried a mix of shock, anger, and silent disapproval at the audacity of that man.
Siya sat quietly, her hands folded on her lap. Outwardly, she seemed calm, but her mind was a whirlwind. Her eyes kept drifting towards the door, as if she were waiting for someone-someone who should have been there already.
Rana-sa.
In this past month, he had never missed a single dinner. Always punctual, always present, always making sure the family felt his presence... she felt his presence. But tonight... he was nowhere to be seen.
Her thoughts, cruel as ever, tried to taunt her. Maybe he doesn't fully believe you... maybe he thinks you're exaggerating... maybe...
She clenched her fists under the table, silencing the dark whispers. No. Rana-sa believed me. He protected me. He would never doubt me. He must be busy... yes... he must be busy. He will come soon.
Aditya, noticing her distant gaze, tried to encourage her, his voice gentle, "Siya Beta... please, eat something." She just hummed.
Everyone else has started eating, though their eyes kept flicking to Siya, worried, protective. She noticed, but couldn't focus. Her gaze drifted yet again to the head chair-his chair. The empty spot made her chest tighten, her heart beat uneven. She couldn't eat a single morsel.
Finally, she pushed her chair back quietly. Her voice was soft, almost hollow, "Mujhe bhook nahi hai." (i am not hungry)
Without waiting for anyone to respond, she rose and retreated toward her room, the subtle shuffle of her feet on the floor echoing louder than the dinner chatter around her.
The room fell into a quiet, tense stillness as everyone exchanged worried glances. No one moved to stop her. Because everyone knew-she was waiting for him.

After a few hours, Avinash finally arrived. His sleeves were rolled up, shirt slightly wrinkled from a long day, but his eyes-those eyes-were still burning with anger, a storm contained beneath the calm facade he always wore.
As soon as he stepped into the living room, his eyes found his mother, Nandini, sitting there, looking worried and tense. He checked his watch: 11:35 PM.
Nandini's gaze sharpened the moment she saw him. Without a word, she rose and marched toward him, her voice rising like a whip.
"Why can't you come early, huh!? Don't you know what happened to meri bachhi (my daughter) today?! Nahi!! Par tumhe fursat hi kaha-bas kaam, kaam aur kaam!" (No!! But where do you have time? It's just work, work, and work!) Avinash opened his mouth, about to speak, "No, maa, it's just-"
But Nandini silenced him with a sharp wave of her hand. "Teri wajah se meri bachhi abhi tak bhooki hai!! Sharam hai tujhe...??" (Because of you, my child is still hungry!! Do you have any shame at all…?)
Her words hit him like ice. His jaw clenched, a frown pulling tight across his face. Rani-sa hadn't eaten all this time? His heart twisted painfully. He took a step closer.
"Maa... why hasn't she eaten? Unki tabiyat toh theek haina? Kuch kaha unhone...!?" (Is her health okay? Did she say anything…!?)
Before he could continue, Nandini spoke again, her voice softening but heavy with meaning, "Intezaar kar rahi thi tumhara..." (She was waiting for you…) she paused then continued, "Aur bolti nahi hai meri bachhi, par uski aankhen.. Uski aankhen bohot kuch bol deti hai." (My child doesn’t speak much, but her eyes… her eyes say so much.)
